The story

Twenty years of graphic and web design.

I started designing logos and websites for individuals and companies in 2003 and never stopped. FIYA-MEDIA has always been a one-person studio in Stuart, Florida, working mostly with local small businesses — plumbers, detailers, contractors, restaurants.

The best part of the job hasn’t changed: seeing the work out in the wild. A truck at a light, a sign on Federal Highway, a shirt on a crew. That still gets me.

How I work

You talk to the person doing the work.

Every project comes through me — the questions, the sketches, the code, the launch. There’s no account manager relaying messages and nothing gets passed to a junior after you sign.

I’m meticulous about detail, which mostly shows up in the boring places: kerning on a wordmark, how a logo holds up in one colour, whether a page still loads fast on a phone with two bars. Those are the parts clients don’t ask about and notice anyway.

Off the clock

A local, not a vendor.

Most of my free hours are spent chasing the coastline on my BMW S1000RR, or deep in a game build — I create video games in Roblox and Unity, doing my own modeling and animation. Whatever’s left goes to the gym: staying consistent is the discipline I bring to everything, training and client work alike.
