Low Voltage Data Networks
Logo design · Low-voltage / data cabling
The brief
Alex’s crews run cable through walls and ceilings — work that literally disappears when it’s done right. The brand had to do the opposite: stand out on a bid sheet, a work shirt, and the side of a van, and read “licensed professional” to a property manager at a glance.
The approach
The mark fuses the L and the V into one angular monogram, with a lightning bolt cutting through the negative space — the voltage lives in the letterforms themselves. Black and gold keeps it serious, and the hard geometry means it works as a one-color stencil, an embroidered patch, or a lit sign over the door.
The result
A logo built to read clearly on a work van, a hard hat, and an invoice.

Before and after
The “before” is a recreation — the kind of do-it-yourself starter logo most small businesses launch with, not Low Voltage’s actual old artwork. Drag the divider to see the difference a real mark makes.
